SUMMARY:West Coast Mennonite Men's Chorus Concert
DESCRIPTION:  \nEstablished in 1978\, the WCMMC has been blessed with the honor of worshipping our Lord through music and also raising funds for relief work around the world. This group of committed men who love to sing have joined together to form the West Coast Mennonite Men’s Chorus. Although rich in the Mennonite tradition of singing as a significant form or worship\, this group now represents men from many walks of life and various churches who commit their time and talent to this time-honored endeavor. Centered in the Fresno\, California area\, singers come from surrounding cities and states to practice and perform.  \nSeveral concerts are performed each year. Funds raised through free-will offerings at each concert help support the projects associated with disaster relief and humanitarian efforts throughout the world.  The chorus has been an active supporter of world relief projects throughout the chorus history; more than $550\,000 has been raised to date. All funds raised go to directly to the project. The expenses associated with the operation of the chorus are covered through sponsor donations and underwriting by members of the chorus itself. \nThis concert is free\, but a love offering will be taken for their ministry.

SUMMARY:43rd Annual Messiah Sing Along
DESCRIPTION:The 43rd annual Messiah Sing-Along will be held on Sunday\, December 1\, at 3pm\, at First Presbyterian Church of Fresno\, at M and Calaveras Streets. \nThis traditional event is expected to attract up to 700 singers are listeners! Dr. Julie Carter\, Director of Music at First Presbyterian Church\, will direct her 23rd Sing-Along. The orchestra is organized by Gaylene Jo and Dr. Walter Saul will accompany the organ. \nMusic will be for sale at the door for $10. There is no admission charge; those attending are encouraged to help feed the needy this Christmas season by bringing a non-perishable food item (canned soup\, dry pasta\, or pasta sauce).
