DESCRIPTION:Love Does\, a ministry of the Visalia Adventist Church and the Promise 89.7 FM will have a prayer gathering Saturday morning\, September 26\, at 10am. We will lift our community in  prayer. We will pray for our community leaders\, our police and other first responders\, our schools\, our hospitals\, our health\, the fires in the West Coast\, and our nation as a whole. This is a local response to the prayer march which Franklin Graham is having the same day in Washington D.C. The event is free and will be held outdoor in the parking lot of the church and radio station at 1300 South Woodland Street in Visalia.\nMasks and social distancing guidelines will be followed.

That’s the question seminar presenter Mike Tucker will be asking couples this weekend at the free Mad About Marriage seminar at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Visalia.   The sessions will be on Friday night\, 1/31/2020\, from 7pm-9pm and on Saturday from 2pm-5:30pm. \n  \nMike is the host of Lifestyle Magazine\, a Christian television talk show that airs on networks like HOPE Channel\, NRB\, SkyAngel\, DirecTV and 170 other stations and networks nationwide. \n  \n“We believe it’s important to address real-life issues that people deal with every day\, like relationships\, health\, and finances.” says Mike Tucker. “That’s why we included a recurring series of episodes titled Mad About Marriage on our show.” \n  \nThe Mad About Marriage Seminar is an outgrowth of the Lifestyle Magazine television programs. It takes the principles being taught by the experts on the show and brings them directly to people in local communities. Some of the topics presented are Communication\, Problem Solving\, Emotional Needs\, Spirituality\, Sexuality\, and Forgiveness. \n  \nMike Tucker is the director of Faith For Today\, the 70-year-old parent ministry of Lifestyle Magazine.  Mike Tucker holds a Masters Degree in counseling\, served for 17 years as pastor of a 2\,000-member church in Arlington\, Texas\, and is known as the “pastor’s pastor”.  We are honored to have him present this marriage seminar in here in the Visalia Seventh Day Adventist Church. \n  \nMad About Marriage seminars are open to all couples\, and singles are also welcome to attend.
