The biggest event of the year for Visalia Rescue Mission is their Empty Bowls event. At Visalia Rescue Mission, they are a non-profit that completely relies on the generosity of their community and partners. They do get some private grants, but they are very specific on the grants they apply for as they do not take money from any entity that does not align with their values.
