Hands In The Community 16th Annual Celebration Dinner

Hands in the Community (HNC) is pleased to announce their upcoming 16th Annual Dinner Celebration at the Visalia Convention Center on Tuesday, November 4th from 6:00 – 9:00pm.

Highlighting the theme, “Thankful, Grateful & Blessed,” this year’s fundraising event will feature a delicious dinner catered by Sue Sa’s Creative Catering, along with Silent and Live Auction opportunities.

HNC is a community benefit organization established to assist the underserved in Tulare, Kings and lower Fresno Counties. We provide volunteers and groups, who meet the needs of those less fortunate. HNC’s objective is to support people in becoming self-sufficient and, more specifically, to strengthen the ability of individuals and families to care for themselves. They help low-income, widows, single parents, elderly, disabled and others with everything from rides, electrical and plumbing issues, building fences/handicapped ramps, painting homes, cleaning yards, and other handyman jobs. Since 2009, they have helped over 7,500 families.

Beginning with just a small corps of workers, HNC has grown to over 1,000 volunteers and collaborates with more than 950 businesses, organizations, and local churches.

The last few years have brought about an increased need for assisting individuals and families within our community, necessitating expanded support in order to continue reaching this often-overlooked population.
