Charity of the Month

Since 1978, the chorus has continued with the same purpose, to sing God’s praises and raise funds for world relief. The first concert was presented in the Saroyan Theater in Fresno with nearly 500 men in the chorus. Over the years, the chorus has appeared in many churches including the Crystal Cathedral in Southern California, to churches in Canada, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, and many churches in Central and Coastal California.
Although rich in the Mennonite tradition of worship through song, our chorus today is comprised of men from more than 50 different churches and denominations, sharing the same faith in our resurrected Savior, Jesus Christ. Based in Central California, our singers come from across the state, we even have one member this season from Wisconsin!
In addition to preserving musical tradition, WCMMC shares our music to raise funds for disaster relief. Free-will offerings are collected at each of our concerts and 100% of the funds collected are directed to disaster relief and caring for those in need.
